Prosperity Gardens in Your Community

All youth programs are in full swing at Prosperity Gardens these days! Under the guidance of Program Coordinator, Ms. T, students from the READY Program work 25 hours a week in the gardens. They help harvest, process and sell our local produce throughout the community. Students have a great time working during the Downtown Champaign Farmers Market, and we all look forward to it each week.

The Mobile Market launches this week at Frances Nelson, and we can’t wait to get our produce out into the community! Prosperity Gardens also holds a small farm stand on N. First St. each Thursday afternoon, so be sure to stop by and enjoy our urban farm. We love having the opportunity to offer affordable local produce through the various markets we participate in.

Look for the big green bus around town, come see us in downtown Champaign, or stop by and see us N. First Street! Buying produce is a great way to support our farm and support youth programming at Prosperity Gardens!
