TUESDAY, 4-7PM:

The Champaign Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the Land Connection, a local non-profit sharing similar goals to Prosperity Gardens. This market features over a dozen vendors, and gives READY students the opportunity to engage with the public and other vendors in a very different way from our other market experiences. Prosperity Gardens accepts debit, credit, cash, LINK and WIC.

The Champaign Farmers’ Market is located in the parking lot in front of the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum.

WEDNESDAY, 1:30-5PM:

A new Prosperity Gardens initiative, the “mobile market”, was developed as an expansion of the farm stand program. In 2014, Prosperity Gardens purchased a small retired school bus for conversion to a farm stand on wheels. The bus will allow Prosperity Gardens’ staff and READY student workers to expand access and affordability to our locally grown produce, delivered directly to those in need. The pay structure for this market is pay-what-you-can.

The Mobile Market bus is parked directly in front of Frances Nelson Health Center, Bloomington Rd. and Prospect Ave. Champaign.

THURSDAY, 3-5:30PM:

For the past several summers, Prosperity Gardens has offered fresh produce at a farm stand adjacent to its garden site. An outgrowth of the North First Street Farmer’s Market, the farm stand operates on Thursday afternoons from 3-5:30. All farm stand proceeds are reinvested in Prosperity Gardens’ programming. This market accepts debit, credit, cash, LINK and WIC.

The North First Street Farm Stand is located at Prosperity Gardens, 302 N. First St. Champaign.
